About the Artist

Kayo Nomura

Kayo Nomura (b. 1982, Nagoya, Japan) is an artist based in Sapporo Japan. Her root is in abstract painting, where she interprets her physical senses through kinetic perceptions, meditating into a deeper level of energy field.

Nomura paints instinctively in milliseconds, illuminating the world of constant motion, captivating moment after moment. By sensing the vibrations in her surroundings and engaging them in kinetic exchange, she transforms them into colors, shapes, and spatial relationships, engaging the viewer to be aware of the present.
